What Does a Community Need to Thrive?

“What does a community need in order to be successful and thrive?” This is the question that our first graders tried to answer through their Community Helpers project. The students interviewed adults on the Tapscott campus to find out what their jobs are, what tools they use and how their work helps the community as a whole. The finished posters are up and you can clearly see the hard work and care that went into these multi-faceted portraits (including drawings!). Whether it’s the facilities team keeping our campus safe and clean or the PE teachers helping kids to move their bodies, the students found out that it’s the people that make a community what it is! 🫶
