Welcoming Musicians from Zimbabwe

We had the honor of welcoming special guests to our Tapscott campus today! Our music teacher’s teacher from Zimbabwe, Musekiwa Chingodza, came to visit her classroom, along with her partner Salani Wamkanganise. They shared the beautiful and uplifting musical instrument called the mbira with the PS community at our Friday morning meeting. As Jessica said after the performance, it is such a wonderful gift to get to sing and listen to music first thing in the morning. We’re grateful for these types of opportunities, getting to connect our students to the diverse community of artists and musicians in the Bay Area.
