Thank You Vincent and Louis

We were thrilled to welcome back Vincent and Louis from Cafe Ohlone (@makamham) to the Avis campus yesterday so they could introduce themselves and give the students some foundational knowledge about the history and culture of the Ohlone people in the Bay Area. We’re looking forward to our partnership with them as we work to transform the Upper Hillside at Avis into an education garden and deepen the students’ understanding of the land they inhabit. Thanks, as always, to Vincent and Louis for the inspiration and care they bring to every visit. ❤
