Students Celebrate Justice in Annual Winter Study
For the past month, our TK–4th grade students have been immersed in preparing for our Winter Study performance, exploring our shared school value of justice through the picture book Noodlephant by Jacob Kramer. Across grade levels, students have engaged in meaningful learning around themes like belonging, accessibility, environmental care, food justice, community, and using their voices for change.
This week’s performance is a guided walk through the Noodlephant story, narrated by our librarian Thomas, with each grade bringing a different part of the journey to life through music, movement, art, and collaboration. Special thanks to our music teacher Kelly and drama teacher Matt for their extraordinary efforts planning and practicing with the kids. Check out these photos of the rehearsals today – our students have worked hard and are excited to share their learning with their families and the PS community!🎤💗
