Student Council Supports Women’s Daytime Drop-In Center
Through a series of student stores, our middle school student council raised funds to create hygiene kits for the Women’s Daytime Drop-In Center (@womensdaytimedropin)!
After purchasing practical and cozy items like socks, hats, toothbrushes, and sanitary pads, they gave materials to each advisory and together, all students created over 200 hygiene kits including handwritten notes of encouragement.
When student council presidents Laurel and Elizabeth dropped the kits off today, they also got a tour, met some of the workers, and learned more about WDDC’s mission. Way to go, middle schoolers!
