Matthew Williams

Matthew Williams, 8th Grade Humanities Teacher, came to Prospect Sierra when he moved from Philadelphia to Berkeley in 2008 to be closer to his family. He has taught in each grade at Avis and currently appreciates the joy, curiosity, and empathy that 8th  grade students bring with them each day. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned both his BA in American history and his MS Ed. Matthew enjoys being outdoors, doing anything with his niece and nephew, and taking the time to appreciate others.
