Lauren Konopka
High School Placement Counselor
Lauren Konopka, High School Placement Counselor, has been an educator for 25 years, working with middle and high school students in private, public, and parochial schools in the Chicago area, Hong Kong, and the Bay Area, including Lick Wilmerding High School, Prospect Sierra, and Carondelet High School. Lauren holds a BA in psychology from Michigan State University and an MA in education from the University of Michigan. Lauren lives in Oakland with her husband, daughter, and cat. In her free time, Lauren loves running, hiking, live music, and dancing. As a native Michigander, Lauren also enjoys spending summers in Michigan with her family.
