Janis Chun

Janis Chun, 5th Grade Science Teacher, joins Prospect Sierra with a varied teaching background having worked at the Lawrence Hall of Science and operating her own mobile science lab before shifting toward classroom teaching. Originally from Hawaii, she was part of a military family that took her on all kinds of adventures growing up. She moved to the Bay Area for college, earned a BS in chemical biology from UC Berkeley, and never wants to leave. In her free time, she loves exploring the area with her husband and two kids, going to museums and parks, or staying active by biking, playing tennis, or ultimate frisbee.
