7th Grade Humanities Teacher

Araceli Quezada, 7th Grade Humanities Teacher, teaches students to see themselves as readers, writers, and agents of change for a more just world. She has instilled this belief in middle school students for over 20 years. She holds a BA in comparative social change from Occidental College and an MA in ethnic studies from San Francisco State University. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, writing poetry and short stories, and mastering family recipes. Now that her children are grown, she loves exploring new places while always making time for what matters most — her family and her two cats, Mittens and Bear.
