Amy Millikan

Amy Millikan, Middle School Dean of Students, is affectionately known to students as Dean Amy. Dean Amy joined Prospect Sierra in 2018, and prior to PS, taught K-12 in many different regions of the country, including a one-room school in rural Montana. In more recent years, Dean Amy directed programs to support new and veteran teachers in underserved communities. She adores working with middle schoolers who she says keep her young and always ask good questions. She is passionate about building a joyful and caring community while also working closely with faculty and parents to create strong support systems for students. Amy earned her BA from Wesleyan University and her Master of Education from Smith College. She lives in Berkeley with her partner. They have two college-aged kids and enjoy hiking, gardening, paddle boarding, construction projects, baseball, and trying new things.
