Alycia Mulgrew

Alycia Mulgrew, Middle School Learning Specialist, brings eleven years of classroom experience to Prospect Sierra, having taught in San Diego and the San Francisco Bay Area. She is passionate about child/adolescent development and supporting students with diverse learning needs. Alycia has worked with students in everything from one-on-one to small groups to general classroom settings. She has also served as a middle school mentor and collaborated with classroom teachers on strategies to best meet students’ learning needs and outcomes. Alycia earned a BA in English and a multiple subject credential from San Diego State University. She completed her MA at the University of San Francisco for special education with a mild/ moderate credential. In her free time, Alycia enjoys spending time with family including her husband and daughter. She loves long distance running, yoga, gardening, travel, and hiking in nature.
