Spreading Love During Black History Month
Love was in the air as we celebrated Black History Month across both campuses today! Tapscott’s Black History Month Assembly featured our own faculty, staff, and community artists. Singers, dancers, visual artists, and musicians shared their stories and talents with us, along with a special Alvin Ailey student dance. Avis’ community meeting built on last week’s celebration of our faculty and staff’s HBCU attendance and introduction to Black Greek stepping with a community demonstration and learning of an 8 count led by our own faculty member Brandon.
We have more learning and celebration of Black culture to share with you; stay tuned!
