Myths Busted and Confirmed in Mythbusters Camp!

During Mythbusters camp, science teacher Melody engaged her students in STEM activities related to the hit show @mythbusters. They wondered what the germiest spot in the school was and found out that the school is rather clean! BUSTED!

Campers examined what the ideal number of mentos added to diet coke created the highest plume of soda. They also tested Miracle berries to see if they changed our taste buds and they did make lemons taste sweet! CONFIRMED!

Finally, campers baked four different recipes for chocolate chip cookies, and while they were ALL delicious, the recipe from America’s Test Kitchen rose to the top. Throughout the week, our young scientists had a blast making their films to share what they learned!
