Middle Schoolers Enjoy Their Edible Books

Edible Books returned for its 11th year at Avis! The festival opened with some friendly competition between advisory groups during a trivia game about the featured books. Entries included edible renditions of YA titles like Smile and Concrete Rose and picture books like The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Students did a gallery walk to admire everyone’s creations before digging in.

Special shout out to middle school librarian Rebecca for orchestrating this delicious rite of spring!
