Grizzly Hill is Coming to Life!

At our Friday Morning Meeting today, the 4th graders highlighted the progress being made on the new play space at the Tapscott campus: “For the entire summer the construction crew has been building our very own new playground! We’re so grateful for all their hard work. On the new playground we’ll be able to climb, slide, sit in the shade, go in a willow hut, play in a sandbox, and take care of the new trees and plants. When the playground opens we will call it Grizzly Hill!” 🐻

Did you know that one of the centerpieces of the new area is the trunk of a tree that fell near the Avis campus during rain storms earlier this year? It has been repurposed and reconfigured to become a permanent part of the school and a fun way for our students to develop and showcase their climbing skills! We’re hoping that it will be finished and ready to open in a couple weeks! Stay tuned! 🍃
