Exploring the Beautiful World of Trees
In science, kindergartners have been learning about the wonderful world of trees: their parts, what sustains them, and what life forms they sustain. Our students delighted in a walk through Canyon Trail Park to inspect native and non-native tree species up close and formulate questions. Back in the classroom, kindergarten scientists further studied the branches they collected and created model trees based on their observations!
