Black History Month On Our Visibility Board

A beautiful collaboration has emerged on our Visibility Board! The 2024 theme of Black History Month is African American Artists, which inspired kindergarten and 3rd grade buddies to study Black artists together. After researching 30 artists, our 3rd graders drew a portrait of and wrote a paragraph about the artist, while their kindergarten buddy replicated one of the artist’s pieces of work.

The project is now on display; come by to discover some amazing artists through our students’ eyes!
