Author Visit with Jennifer Holm

This morning, the 5th – 7th graders had a special visit from author Jennifer Holm, author of the Babymouse series, the Sunny series and many many more wonderful books. She shared with the students about her upbringing, her journey to becoming a children’s book writer and the creative process with her brother, Matthew, who has illustrated many of her books.

Students were able to ask questions and even got a sneak peek of her newest book, Outside, a sci-fi story about a young girl living in a dystopian world who must leave her family’s compound to explore the dangerous outside world.
