8th Graders Design and Build Floating Tables

There is always something cool being cooked up at colab! Take a look at these amazing “floating” tensegrity tables that our 8th graders created recently. These tables appear to float, held together through a balance of tension and compression. Using principles of engineering, physics, design, and problem-solving, students worked through the challenges of planning, constructing, and refining their projects by hand.
