Our first graders know how it feels to be frustrated by what they can’t do…YET! Each of us, from the day we’re born, is accompanied by a special companion—the Yet. Can’t tie your shoes? Yet! Can’t count to 1,000? Yet! Can’t spell spaghetti? Yet! Inspired by @angeladiterlizzi’s book The Magical Yet, students created their own little magical Yet creatures and came up with inspiring words the Yets whisper in their ears when challenges come along.
