Susana Mizrahi

Susana Mizrahi, Spanish Teacher and Eighth Grade Advisor, joined Prospect Sierra in 2017. Susana has worked with a range of students and delivered her own lessons, exposing them to multicultural perspectives through hands-on and mixed media learning. Additionally, Susana was a residential advisor at the prestigious Middlebury Monterey Language Academy. As a native speaker, émigré from Mexico, Susana shares her experience as a child “learning another language became a priority; I feel translating this priority is as important as ever because of where we find ourselves geographically, socially, and politically.” Susana holds a BA in Spanish literature from Reed College.
