Amy Millikan, Dean of Students, 6th Grade Advisor, and Life Skills Teacher, comes to us from the University of San Francisco where she was an award-winning Adjunct Professor in the education department. Amy spent her early years as an educator in a one-room schoolhouse in Montana where she was responsible for students and curriculum in a multi-grade classroom. From there she moved to Chicago where she was a classroom teacher at both Morgan Park Academy and the Carnegie School. In recent years, Amy has directed programs to support new and veteran teachers in underserved communities at the university level. Amy brings a passion and commitment to building community and serving students, faculty, and parents. Amy has a BA in the classics from Wesleyan University and a MEd from Smith College. She lives in Berkeley with her husband and two sons.
