Mia Gittlen, 6th Grade Librarian & Yearbook Coordinator, has 14 years of classroom teaching experience which includes serving as a teacher on special assignment for instructional technology. Most recently she taught 6th grade ELA and social studies as well as 7th and 8th grade Minecraft electives in San Jose, CA. She is passionate about amplifying student voice, action civics, information and media literacy, and maker-center learning. She is pursuing a master’s degree in library and information science at San Jose State. Mia enjoys attending book events, doodling in her bullet journal, and hiking.
