Josefina Jacquin

7th Grade Spanish Teacher and Advisor

Josefina Jacquin, 7th Grade Spanish Teacher and Advisor, brings twenty years of Spanish teaching expertise to Prospect Sierra. In addition to teaching both Spanish and art, she has parented two boys in independent schools and served as a board member in their schools. A native from Colombia, Josefina completed her BFA at San Francisco State University and obtained an MFA in printmaking at the San Francisco Art Institute. In addition to her love of teaching, she is an accomplished artist who has exhibited her work in California, Europe, and Colombia. Josefina lives in Oakland and thrives on the progressive nature, social diversity, and physical beauty of the Bay Area.
