Transitional Kindergarten Lead Teacher
Whendy Costa, Transitional Kindergarten Lead Teacher, has been in the Early Childhood Education field for thirteen years, most of which have been spent in the UC Berkeley Early Childhood Education Program. She earned her BA and master’s degree while working full time, and is committed to lifelong learning. She is a California native, born and raised in the East Bay, and loves spending time outside at local beaches, forests, mountains, and deserts. This love of nature inspires her curriculum as well as her life away from school, and in her free time you can often find her enjoying a hike, photographing wildlife, or curled up in her yard with a good book.
