Kathleen Arada, Elementary School colab Teacher, joins Prospect Sierra after working as a transitional kindergarten through fifth grade cross-curricular technology teacher in San Diego, where she taught basic technology skills as well as robotics and computer programming. Kathleen is passionate about the benefits of technology in the classroom, performing research on the effects of a laptop environment and various assessment software on writing and science curriculum in schools. She received her BA in English and sociology and her MA in education both from the University of California, Irvine. She holds multiple subject and supplementary English teaching credentials. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, traveling, playing video games and hanging out with her pet fish.
