Beautiful Screen Printing in Honor of Dia de los Muertos
Using patience, precision, and a little experimentation, middle school students in the bilingual Spanish class participated in a screen printing art project inspired by Día de los Muertos. Alejandra Rubio, a local San Francisco based Latina artist, worked with the students this week as they made prints from silk screens they designed and constructed using embroidery hoops. Check out their beautiful creations! Thank you Alejandra for sharing your work and inspiring our students.
