6th Grade Reflections in Our Upper Hillside

6th graders recently had a chance to spend some quiet reflective time on the upper hillside at Avis, choosing a natural object to draw and think about from various perspectives. There were pine cones, sour grass, clover, owl pellets, and fallen branches that piqued the interest of the students as our science teacher, Jo, gave them the opportunity to be outside for an afternoon of contemplation and journaling. 🌲☘🌱
