Over the weekend Evelyn Goessling, in 5R, went shopping with her mom in Walnut Creek. Evelyn also went to a sleepover party. They surfed the web and watched “The Scary Car Ad” on You Tube. Getting into the camping spirit, they slept outside. The next morning they ate “yummy crepes,” Evelyn exclaimed!
Over the weekend, Katherine Dinh went to the Farmers Market in San Rafael. She bought French bread, morning pastries, fresh fruit, and vegetables. She also bought a Bonsai tree. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) Daniel Radcliff , Rupert Grint, Emma Watson. This Harry Potter is the shortest of the series, but is jam packed with the most exciting and interesting plot yet. Also the actors were very animated despite the uninteresting script. The books are much better than the movies but they are still average.

This year the school got a new lunch system, Choice Lunch. That’s nothing new, but this year the quality of most lunches has skyrocketed. “They’re mostly really good,” says Caroline Ribet. “A lot better then last year,” she added. When talking to students who get these new lunches most all of them say it is a great improvement. “The greatest thing about these lunches is the amount of choice you get,” says Austin Zimmermann. This makes sense seeing as the name of the program is Choice Lunch. Please check out these lunches and see for yourself what a Choice Lunch can be like.

Tommy Shneckenberger is an 11-year-old student in Kristin Stringfield’s sixth grade class. He is new to Prospect Sierra School this year. He came to this school from Crestmont School. He really likes Music with Marty and Art with Julie. Tommy says he “felt really good when he walked on to the campus” his first day of school. He felt excited. “My last school was only 68 kids, so this school is a lot bigger. I like it more than my old school because it’s a better environment and it’s more fun here.” Tommy says he has made a lot of friends because he’s cool. Most of them are new friends for him, but have been at Prospect Sierra for at least a year. At recess he plays football and basketball with his friends. He says he likes the playground here a little bit less then Crestmont because that one was bigger. But he stills really likes Prospect Sierra. He is happy he came here.
