Why use the same word as everyone else? Try these alternatives in your writing:
Nice : pleasant, good, kind, polite, satisfying, enjoyable, pleasing, pleasurable, lovely, amusing, cheery
Happy: tickled, elated, thrilled, lighthearted, delighted, ecstatic, blissful, jovial, overjoyed, jubilant
Said: whispered, cried, screamed, hollered, shrieked, bellowed, believed, weeped, howled, wailed, blubbered, shouted, exclaimed, called, yelped, screeched

Ikebana means "flowers kept alive." It is the Japanese art of flower arrangement. These arrangements are very simple, with the idea that less is more. Ikebana arrangements may be a single blossom or several different kinds of plants. Usually 3 types is considered the maximum. Containers may be made of wood, lacquerware, or ceramic and are usually very simple. Often the container is designed to hang from a wall. Ikebana arrangements change with the season. Different styles and plants are traditional for different times of the year. Chrysanthemums, for example, are used in the fall. Cherry blossoms, young bamboo shoots and other grasses are used in the spring.
