Notes:
The best thing about today was most certainly our debate about The Giver. It was neat to see use argue the question, "Is the community a utopia?" so passionately. The conversation that followed afterward was equally intriguing. Is anywhere a utopia? It seems like 6S thinks not. It was great to see us so engaged in thinking about the big ideas in this fabulous book.
