news and notes 1/18/08

Homework:

Writing: 15 minutes, 4 nights a week. You should be finalizing your drafts and beginning to type!

Reading Buddies: 20 minutes 4 nights a week + entries in reading log everytime + post-it notes. Use Reading Log 2.0

Math: Write a paragraph about what you plan to do for your fraction project, due 1/22.

Other: Time Management sheets, due Friday 1/18. I'll collect these Tuesday.

Notes:

We did an impressive amount of work this week preparing for the assembly. It really paid off however. Our podcast was professional and moving. Along with the work of the rest of the 6th grade, we absolutely taught the school about the strategies people have used to change the course of the world.

I'll be posting the podcast to this blog in the next few days.
