2/16 Electives instead of Assembly. Break begins at the end of the day.

Homework

Writing:

Write 15 minutes 3 nights a week.

Reading Buddies:

Read 15 minutes 5 nights a week.

Bring Reading Buddies books and be prepared for Reading Buddies meetings and discussions every Tuesday and Thursday.

* For the next two weeks we will have Reading Buddies on Wednesday.

Literature:

Math:

5 minutes of math facts practice daily.
Estimation, due every Thursday.
Stumper (optional), due whenever you get unstumped.
Problem Solving, due every other Monday.

for Thursday, SMJ 167-169, SL 5.2 and Fractions Test Part 2 (notes ok).

Humanities: Project on life in Ancient Greece, 15 minutes every weeknight.
Project Plan, due Friday 2/16.

Grammar:

Notes

Happy Valentine's Day. I will be reading and grading your research binders over the next two days. You will definitely get them back on Friday. I'm looking forward to seeing the work that you've done. Remember, to continue your work on parts 2 (Character) and 4 (Display) of the project.
