Notes

Friday, most of the class gathered for pizza and movie night. Honestly it was so much, I wonder if we can do it again. During the first part of the evening there was not much movie viewing, but a lot of ear-splitting laughing, talking, and hair-styling. I'm grateful for the thanks I got from students today for the party (esp. because I was feeling a little grumpy this morning), but even more grateful that you all got to spend some time together that had nothing to do with completing assignments.

Today's trip to the Rosicrucian Museum included a long drive and required a lot of careful listening, low voices, and gentle movement. We saw a number of mummies, an Egyptian tomb, and countless cool artifacts. We also had a pleasant lunch outside in the rose garden down the street and worked out all those ya-yas that had collected during our quiet morning.
