Middle School Girls Compete in All-Girls’ Math Competition

Prospect Sierra girls made us proud as they represented our school at the 5th bi-annual “Count on Girls” math competition for girls. Julia Morgan School created this event to provide encouragement for girls to excel in mathematics, and girls from public and private schools throughout the Bay Area are involved. Prospect Sierra School has sent 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls to each of the five competitions. Our girls have performed marvelously and received honors at each competition.

Congratulations to our most recent participants: Leah (6), Meera (7), Mija (7), Addie (7), Dinora (7), Stephanie (7), Sonya (8), Emma (8), and Kate (8). Extra congratulations go to our 7th grade team for winning first place! Bravo to all the girls for their participation and enthusiasm! Thank you for representing our school.
