Prospect Sierra’s technology program instills the skills and concepts needed to use technology comfortably and ethically in ongoing learning, inside and outside the classroom, both independently and as a member of a team. Integration of technology with classroom curriculum is emphasized and attention is given to emerging developments in the technology arena. We support critical thinking skills by teaching the use of technology tools to locate, organize and evaluate information. Students learn to understand the value of technical skills in accomplishing their academic and personal goals. By introducing tech skills in early elementary years and increasing expectations through middle school, we prepare students for independent work.
Middle School

Students learn to use technology as a resource through projects that are integrated with their classroom curriculum. Technology lessons and projects in conjunction with the library are designed to develop students’ technical and research skills and to support classroom learning.
