Welcome, alumni! From the first graduates of Prospect
and Sierra to our newest alumni of Prospect Sierra, we invite you to visit
the school anytime. Members of the early classes will see much
that is familiar — many long-time faculty and staff members and
an environment in which children love learning. What has changed, even
for the newest alums, is the addition of beautiful new facilities at both
the Tapscott and Avis campuses.
Prospect Sierra Alumni Action Award
Prospect Sierra faculty, student council and trustees are delighted to announce the third annual Prospect Sierra Alumni Action Award (PSAAA), a prize recognizing former students who are actively working for the greater good of society. We are seeking alumni ages 14-22 who can inspire our K–8 students and school community about the difference a dedicated individual can make in the world. We know that you’re out there!
Download the form to nominate alumni you believe fit the criteria listed. Self–nominations are welcome. All nominations must be received by February 19, 2010. The winner will receive a cash prize of $500, be honored in an article in Taking Flight, and be invited to speak about their work at an all-school assembly on May 21, 2010.
Congratulations to our past winners: Lea Gee-Tong '05, for her work on inclusion and anti-bias while a student at Marin Academy, and Maddie Dreyfus '03 for her work as a teacher at the Blossom School in South Africa.
Prospect Sierra wants to stay connected with you and your family, and
help you stay connected with your classmates.
Look for alumni news in the fall edition of Taking
Flight. Use our Stay Connected form anytime to share news about your studies, work, interests, sports,
community involvement, travel, family, other alumni, and remembrances
of your school days.
Alumni reunions are held in the fall of your freshman year in high school, at the end of your senior year
in high school, and when you graduate from college. We always love hearing from our alums and hope you will help us stay connected by updating your contact information and keeping us updated with any changes.

Opportunities for Support
Alumni, parents, teachers, and staff work together to create an environment
where students love learning, a value that can endure throughout their
lives. Contributions to the Prospect Sierra Scholarship
Endowment help sustain this environment for our students, now, and
in the future. If you choose to make a gift,
in any amount, it will make a difference for your school and its children.
Many alumni and their families stay connected by organizing alumni events
or serving on the Board of Trustees. We welcome your ideas on ways to
involve alumni and their families. Please call or email Wendy Horng Brawer, Director
of Development
, ext. 330, or Claudia Spain, Assistant Director of Development
, ext. 331 at 510.232.4123.
