Tuition, Fees & Assistance

Tuition for 2010-2011

Elementary School (K-4): $19,975

Middle School (5-8): $21,975

There are two options for payment:

  1. Payable in three installments: 10% in February, 60% in May, 30% in January
  2. Payable monthly: 10% in February with the balance paid in 11 equal installments May-January, and March-April

Additional Expenses & Fees

  • One time Family Site Assessment Fee: $900 - paid in two equal payments over first 2 years of enrollment
  • Cost of major field trips in grades 5-8
  • AfterSchool care
  • Other expenses include transportation costs, contribution to the Annual Fund

note: Some of the above fees may be adjusted or waived for families receiving Tuition Assistance.


Tuition Assistance

Prospect Sierra offers tuition assistance for qualifying families as assessed by School and Student Service (SSS) and the Prospect Sierra Tuition Assistance Committee. At Prospect Sierra, 41% of our students receive financial aid grants, totaling $1,550,000.

Tuition Assistance Deadlines

To be considered for tuition assistance, please complete the Parent Financial Statement (PFS) online.Contact either the admissions or business offices for information or questions.

Online PFS Application

Once complete, mail the original PFS directly to SSS (School and Student Services) and send a copy with requested documents to the Prospect Sierra business office. Parents who are separated or divorced must each complete individual PFS forms. Click here for additional Tuition Assistance Information. Online Forms must be completed no later than Friday, January 14, 2011.

A copy of your 2009 Federal Tax Return to support your tuition assistance application must be sent to the school's business office along with your PFS form no later than Tuesday, January 18, 2011.

Families are notified about admission and tuition assistance decisions on March 11, 2011.
